There are shows I can watch over and over again...
Leotards like this are why
So, it's been a while, huh? Must have been about a month because yesterday another book club rolled around. We met at Boscos and our get-together was grand as always. (Blackened grouper sammich. Helloooo.)
I'd Know You Anywhere was a good time and we had deep, intellectual talkings about it. I'm pretty excited about our next book...
Love him on Top Chef... Although he really needs to work with his shyness issues
So, what's been going on other than book club? I don't even know where the last month has gone... I can't believe we're halfway through February already. I know some time was spent on snow days.
Big flakes from the kitchen window
Winter wonderland backyard
Working on the couch in pajamas is the best. Comfy, warm, and I caught up on some DVR goodness. And then watched the animals take their heater shifts.

The afternoon
I haven't done that much cooking over the last month. I've been getting off work later lately and it makes me want to go straight to the couch. But when I have been cooking, I've been obsessed with my cast iron skillet.
Classic
I've been doing different seasonings on chicken breasts and just skillet cooking with a little e.v.o.o. Healthy and tasty every time!
Great with salad too
Oh, and I made a spinach omelet.
The turkey sausage gravy looks like eyeballs. Tasty... But here it looks like it's looking back at me. Yeesh.
So, that's pretty much that. Wow, life has been sorta uneventful. Just a blur of work, dinner with friends, and animal kisses... Which, now that I think about it, is actually pretty nice. Big plans tonight though. The Hubs and I are going to go to an early Valentine's Day dinner. I can't wait. We're going to our favorite Midtown spot and I'm already tasting the spinach souffle! Should be home in time for the Grizz game, Grammys, & jammies. (I'm noticing a thread here, it's alllll about the pajamas.) And then on the week... Sigh. Oh, well. Jammies are on for the moment! I really need to invest in some of those pajama pants that look like jeans. I think that more than is natural...
Have a great last of the weekend, Bubbleland!
