Super Bowl Sunday... With 3 shots of estrogen

Sunday night... Yum. Oscars are in the air and by the time you read this we'll probably know the big winners. But, really, who cares? All the good parts will be on youtube and I, personally, have some fun stuff DVR'd. And watching stuff live is annoying. Unless it's the red carpet. All the shiny, nude, iridescence has been beautyyyyyyful! Michelle Williams, fabulous. Halle Berry, too froo-froo. I like pretty. But "sweet" is no-bueno.

Ok, I was going to do this tomorrow but I'm on a fabric roll. Mom, we're usually on the same Project Runway page... Let's see if that holds up here.

How wonderful is the color on this? Love the little sleeves and it just fits like a glove.

This year there's a little more of the leaving things to the imagination. I'm not sure if it's because these ladies are mama but who cares? They look FANTASTIC and it reminds me of some Edith Head goodness. Thumbs up!

The whole champagne, nude shimmery fad is working for her here. And the cut... That cut! It's a little different, just a hair sassy, and a beautiful silhouette. Unless I missed a bunch of the red carpet – which is actually pretty likely since I saw red carpet on Grizzlies game commercials and online– this was the winner of the night for me!

I might catch some slack for my worst list but I'm going to reiterate –

Halle Berry. Too sweet. Color's wrong. And the bottom's too froo-froo. Don't care what Kelly Osbourne and Guiliana DiPandi say.

HORRIBLE fit. Who was mean enough not to tell her that fabric looked like that on camera? Bless her heart.

Ok... There's way more people that weren't dressed right. And even more gorgeous frockness. But I'm tired of doing screenshots and am ready to talk about the ITALIAN POTLUCK TODAY!!!!

So tasty. My house still smells like toasted Italian breadcrumbs. Largely because I burnt 2 batches. Did you know it takes, like, .276 of a second to broil them to a nice toastsy light-brown? Yeah? Well, you're better than me then. My first batch was a crisp, smoking black. Second was a hearty chocolate pile of embers. Batch #3: Perfect.

It all turned out delicious. So delicious, I forgot to take a pic of my plate. (Did you notice I used a "real" camera for my pics and not my phone here?!?!?!) Oh well... You get the drift and I think the tasty has been clearly communicated.

K, gonna sign off now. I'm catching up on Glee and the cat wants to sit on my chest. Makes it hard to type but oh-so-sweet. Mmmm, Sunday... I will savor the last of you and kitty kuddle time's a bonus. Might have to have a goodnight piece of garlic bread too...
