Quick Flowery Note

Ok, so I was thinking about what my new painting subject is going to be.

In the past, I've done some not-so-"pretty" things. So I think I want to branch out and do something that is really pretty and lovely and dainty. Like a teacup. Only different. And also hopefully interesting.

So Spring has got me inspired with all the color fullness. I've tried "pretty" before in flower form. A loooong time ago, I tried pretty. And I had to knock the dust off pretty today.

I imagine it has several twins at your local yard sale

I was thinking about the azalea bushes in our front yard...

All that to say, I think I'm going to tackle the flower realm again as my first-painting-back subject matter. It will be really abstracted with a lot of vibrant colors that just says

"Spring"

Who's excited? Just me? Fair enough.
