Blueberry Birthday Pie

My mother-in-law makes the best desserts.  We recently had some birthday celebrating and she kindly remembered my love of pie over cakes.  She made me the most beautyyyyy-full blueberry birthday pie.

Look at that crust.  Does it get any better?  If cake had a crust like that, maybe it would be as good?  Well they don't.  And that's why pies win!

If it's possible, it tasted even better than it looked.  I ate two pieces...  And then more when I got home.  But hey, it was my birthday!  (A couple days earlier.)
