Sriracha Soy Avocado

So BBQ Fest was great.  I mean, like, really great.  But I was really ready for some non-meaty food after it.  A meat detox, if you will.  Where do you start?  Oatmeal?  A smoothie?  Well, I had an avocado just hanging out.

I'm loving some avocados.  I've been eating a black bean, avocado, onion, and romaine salad non-stop lately.  I've also been smearing it on sandwich thins with turkey.  Tasty, healthy, and yum.  Ahhhh, the joys of avocado season.  It's not just for Subway. (You've seen those commercials, right?  "Avocadohh!")

So, I found this recipe on Pinterest the other day.  I'd been curious about how that would taste so I decided to give it a whirl.  And to skip the roasted sesame seeds.  (Little too much work to get stuff in your teeth, ya know?)   I just dumped some soy sauce on it and squirted a bit of sriracha and...

The opposite of meat
It was good!  Like, surprisingly good.  I wasn't sure how it would all go together and I was pleasantly surprised.  So if you're looking for a snack that'll fill you up, give it a whirl.  I mean, why not?  Worst case, you're out half of an avocadohh.
