Tasty pho sure

Have you ever had pho?  It's a Vietnamese noodle soup pronounced "fuh".  My friend Alfred (of Team Wingy Dingy fame) made some recently and it was GOOD.  He cooked the broth overnight and I should have asked what was in it.  (The Wikipedia page lists beef bones and oxtails for starters.)  I also should have taken a picture because it was lovely with onions and all sorts of mystery things floating around.

We had garnishes of bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, and something else...  What am I forgetting?  Arghhh...  This is why I write everything down.

Wait.  Ha, never mind.  I took a picture - there was also lime juice to blend all the flavors.  I also added some sriracha.  Cuz if I can eat it spicy, Imagonnahaveitspicy!

So pretty and fresh!  And probably healthy before I gorged myself on fried egg rolls
It was very good and I think I will have to try Saigon Lee's to compare and contrast.  If I can make myself breakout from my usual lemongrass tofu order, that is.

More very soon.  Last week was a big one!  I had a schmancy birthday dinner with my handsome husband at Interim.  It.  Was FAB.  And my mom and I took a cooking class for fish this last weekend.  See what I mean?  Big!
