So here's... Drumroll, please...
The Hubs and I have season tickets to Memphis Tigers basketball. We sit with two other couples and it's a grand time. Last season, The Husband was very busy nesting. (Or possibly still in mourning for the team that Calipari gutted?) We didn't got to every home game like we had in the past. But college basketball and Memphis go hand in hand like the Mississippi river and stank. And with the NBA being on lockout, it's like water to a blind man. Wait... That's not right. I'm going to stop with the bad metaphors and tell ya.
Basketball means Fall. And Fall means crisp Fall air. And crisp Fall air begs the pure convenience of comfort food...
I am loving CROCK POTS!
I've got a roast later to tell you about. It was DELISH. The house smelled crazy good and it was so easy.
While I cook, I've been streaming Netflix. I watched most of Cheers this way. But once Rebecca Howe hits, for me, it starts to go downhill. Her desperate nature is not the foil that Diane Chambers was, that's for sure. YouknowwhatI'msayin'?
So I moved on to Felicity. I used to love this show. I mean, J.J. Abrams. How can you not? But I forgot how seriously good and angsty this show is. Will it be Ben? Will it be Noel? Will they push it to the point we don't care?
Last night, to not bother The Hubs, I watched it on my phone until I fell asleep. I might be developing a problem...
I am loving FELICITY - SEASON 1!
Speaking of phones, I am loving my iPHONE 4S!
The video quality, the speed, the Siri... There are so many things I love about this phone. It's such an upgrade from my 3S. And it brings out the uber-nerd in me. Which I try to shove into a closet but is constantly making her way to daylight... You heard her just go on and on about Felicity, right?
And finally, I am loving the weather. (You may have caught that during my crock pot mention.) Which is making me love TEXTURED TIGHTS!
Urban Outfitters has such a great selection. The only problem is that I don't have clothes to match all of them. A shopping trip might be in store for the weekend. Is it weird to buy main items to match accessories?
Ok. So. Yup. The End.
That was my first What I'm Loving Wednesday. And I feel like I sorta screamed at you like Bob Barker, Bubbleland. ("I'm loving CROCK POTS, come on DOWNNNNNNN!) Next time, I'll revise the delivery. Only Bob Barker can work that look.
Until then, happy Wednesday to all you Bubbles out there! Goooo, Tigers!
Yay! I'm so glad you did this! I am hoping to get a post in tonight. I can't wait to hear about this roast recipe. I love crock pots...so easy! Great seeing you Saturday!!
ReplyDeleteWednesday Fun!
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to seeing YOU on Sunday! Two weeks in a row... A girl could get spoiled ;)
