Well, Internet, two massive defeats last night. The Husband and Horace's basketball team's record went untarnished. By winning. And afterwards, Miss H and I lost to the fellas in an intense game of garage darts. That noise you heard last evening? The earth shedding a tear.

MJ here yet?

Sugarbear and MJ had the best ole time together. They played hard. Chewed on a leafy branch or two. And then just sort of laid around all tired-like. It's adorable! And a very happy Tuesday for our resident sugar-face.

Urghhhhh, I can't believe it's only Wednesday. It sooooo feels like Thursday. WHY can't it be Thursday!?!

I'm looking forward to grocery shopping either tomorrow or over the weekend. It is one of my absolute fave things to do. Perusing all the yummy possibilities. And everyone knows that girls, like, totally love to spend money more than anything in the world.

I don't have time to dust and push around that... Oh, what do you call that big, loud thing that sucks up everything?

I'm hosting a Mexican Disney baby shower on Saturday and I'm making pork tacos. (If the theme seems a little odd, it was chosen because the little mama is craving Mexican food and super-loves Disney.) I can't wait to pick out the big, beautiful pork shoulder roast! I've never made it before so keep your fingers crossed for me, Internet. Not usually the type of shindig I branch out at but hey, if all goes well, we'll be eating something pretty like -

My mom passed this recipe along to me so maybe, through her genetics, I will just intuitively know how to not mess it up. My GDGs (Graphic Design Girls) are all bringing food and they bring the noise AND the funk so it should be pretty good eatin'. And the whole event gave me an excuse to draw sombreros on Disney characters.

We just have to get through Thursday and Friday first though... I think it was the short week last week. I got spoiled quickly.
