Hello, Internet! Yesterday and today are crazy so pictures are all I have time for. But I know you will love them. YOU WILL LOVE THEM. (I got all of my subliminal messaging tips from an episode of Saved by the Bell, btw.)
No worries though... I will return soon with my synopsis of the first season of Wings. Or something equally exciting ;)
A little fencing has been added so my babies look less like a pile of dirt in the yard. Sugarbear has amazingly left it all alone.
Better Boys.
Romas... I thought. They look just like the Better Boys. (FYI, if you're thinking they look a little funny, I had just watered them.)
The grapes are growing like crazy!
And FINALLY starting to turn red!
The fig tree is starting to put out. Fig jam if I can keep the birds out. So probably just a bird-pecked mess in the backyard. Sigh...
Waiting for the figs to drop.
Got a new comforter to replace the one the dog ate.
I went to the Memphis Farmer's Market for the first time Saturday. Itty bitty peaches. But that's ok, they pack a punch.
I hope my tomatoes grow up to be just like theirs.
I used the peaches for a balsamic vinaigrette salad, stuffed the tomatoes and served with cheesy rice & brown sugar meatloaf. The Husband loved the meatloaf! Too bad I didn't get a better pic.
Ok, that was lame but I'm so very proud of my nonsense.
Let's see, what's on the books... The Hubs has a ballgame tonight so break a hoop to him and The Reptile, Horace. Looking forward to a big family weekend. And book club! Now I just need to get through the rest of this day.
Keep it classy, Internet! I will see you soon.
