I shutter the thought

We've almost made it through another week. Yayyyyy!

Big weekend coming up... Grizzlies play tonight. (This is less big to me than other people in my life. But, eh, I'm still somewhat emotionally invested.) Book Club is tomorrow. And the time is finally upon us! I've selected my book picks for us to vote on and I'm feeling pretty good about the range and quality. I think this one might, just might, be the one that doesn't stink up the joint. (I'll share next week after it all goes down.) Also this weekend will be brunch and a movie with the good people from down the street.

I can't wait. Leo DiCaprio and I go way back. (Growing Pains... Basketball Diaries... Romeo and Juliet. Yes?) Mental hospitals are fascinating. That is – literally – where all the crazy be's going down. And the trailer looks very cool. I think The Husband is going to get a little scared but I'm prepared to deal with the night terrors.

Oh, the fun to come.

What's better than brunch and a movie? Tasty non-usual menu items! Followed by the magic of the movie theatre! Drinks that cost $4! I could go on and on.

But instead, Internet, I chose to address a problem that I feel needs to be addressed. (Hold on, I need to work the word "address" into that sentence one more time first.)

I admit it.
I don't think I can stop.
I take pictures of random stuff all the time. Like my messy office.

Is this a problem for you? Do we need to take this outside? (And by that I mean, while you go outside, I hide in the bathroom?)

I just feel the need to address (heh!) that –
1. Yes, that is nerdy.
2. No, I'm not going to stop. And
3. I know you're making fun of me in your head, Internet. So stop it. Everyone has to have a hobby, right?

Well, Internet, my friend. You have a good Friday night your way. And I'll have a good Friday mine. I'll probably just be taking pictures of doorknobs all night. And in the meanwhile, let's share something we both enjoy...
