Helloooo, world. Friday is upon us. Yay!

The manicotti turned out very tasty last night. –
Although, I was very disappointed in my hostessing skills last night. I was so excited to use our "marriage" stuff. Matching dinnerware & flatware, appetizer plates & platter, and a beautiful hand-made ceramic bread dish. We had Trivial Pursuit for the Wii (thanks, Jessica P!) to top off the fun. Wonderful!

But it had been a long week of late nights and I started getting dozey during the trivia game. Not enough sleep + heavy Italian food = sleepy. Who'd have known? Oh, right... ANYONE. Same effect as turkey. (Only unlike at my parents' house, I didn't fall asleep on the floor.) I think it affected Andrew too because we lost. On our home turf. Oh, the shame...

– Pat & Nikki, thank you for coming over. But get ready... There will be a Trivial Pursuit rematch in your future! And it's gonna be ON.

Didn't make it through Project Runway at all. Although I know who got kicked off and am happy to say, "Goodbye, Feather Dusterhead!" Maybe try making a different dress when you get home and not the same one over and over again. Just sayin'. And, Christopher, you better step it up next week.

Andrew's parents & brother and his wife are coming over next week though so having a test run was great. It will be our first time serving a meal to my new family at our new house! Hopefully, we can train the dog before then. Do dogs go through puberty? I think ours is... Lately she's been feeling sassy. Wants to stay up all hours and likes all the boys a little too much.

Sigh... Just hope we can keep her from hanging out with the wrong crowd. Oh, wait... Too late, Margo Kostakis!

This weekend should be a good time. U of M 5k tonight. Gonna get me a shirt and have a quesadilla with the Oteys when it's over. Should be a nice start.

Guess that's about enough for today. At lunch I'm going to do the "official" name change at the Social Security office so we'll see how that goes. I feel like a fraud because I already have this –
